The rarity of chests is not random, but follows a predefined cycle. This cycle consists of 60 chests. Once the cycle is complete, it starts again from scratch. Only the number of characters you unlock from chests is random.
Each 60 chest cycle consists of 36 common chests, 18 rare chests, and 6 epic chests. Every chest can be opened using a Chest Token, which will be automatically filled every 3 hours. You can stack up to 3 tokens unless you buy them with coins, acquire them through shop offers, Tara Events, Friend Referrals, Pinata Events, and more.
The cycle is the same for all players, so if you know where you are in the cycle, you can predict the rarity of the next chest you will receive. This is useful for players aiming to unlock or upgrade specific characters, allowing for strategic use of chest doublers. It is recommended to have a minimum of a 5-win streak before using chest doublers to maximize their potential.
